Stephanie founded Vertical Brokerage, Inc in 2007 after several years at Chicago based Sheldon Good & Company where she became a specialist in Office and Retail Leasing. Stephanie is an expert at drawing out the important facts from clients that enables her to understand their business nuances and locate their best space opportunity. Her math and finance background facilitates obtaining the best financial deal for both tenant and landlord, as well as advising her clients on what course of action is in their best interest.

As founder of Vertical Brokerage, Stephanie has a vision that her company will always operate with integrity, insight and passion while putting the client first. She has mastered the service side of the industry developing teams to provide for three important areas – Retail and Office Leasing, Medical Office Development and Leasing, and Investment Properties. Her vision and leadership assures that all clients will be given appropriate attention for their projects.Stephanie brings to Vertical Brokerage more than 10 years of experience providing commercial enterprise service in the insurance and real estate industries. She is well versed in risk management, RFPs, presentation and technology utilizations. Her responsibilities included developing relationships with many of the industry players including CEOs, CFO & Risk Mangers of Future 500 companies which led to uncovering new products and clients for Arthur J Gallagher & Co.  

Stephanie has worked with numerous clients such as Wintrust Mortgage, Alivio Medical, Traxcom Technologies, Sticky Fingers Gourmet Popcorn, Absolutely Chinese, US Department of Veteran Affairs, and more to establish business locations throughout the Chicagoland area. Stephanie is a skilled negotiator capable of putting together deals that please her clients. She understands the impacts that the real estate solution has on her client’s business. She is equally adept at representing prospective tenants, landlords and building owners and bringing parties together for investment property deals.

Pat recently joined Vertical Brokerage, Inc as Senior Vice President for Commercial Real Estate. With more than 20 years of experience in office leasing, property acquisition, and negotiating sales, Pat is equally proficient representing tenants who are seeking office or retail space... or landlords who are seeking new tenants.

Prior to joining Vertical Brokerage, Pat was responsible for 11 hospital-owned medical office buildings in the hospital's service area. After acquiring the land, she worked on the design team to develop the properties into functional buildings with brand recognition; and, was responsible for negotiating leases on behalf of the owner for over 300,000 square feet of office space. Her responsibilities included the design and build-out of the individual office spaces as tenants were identified, and created win-win situations that resulted in minimal turnover.

Pat’s education includes a bachelor’s degree from Barat College in Lake Forest, IL and a master’s degree in administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. In addition, she is a certified interior decorator with additional training and certification as a commercial decorating specialist.
